Description

Gnu Riders Choice C3 Snowboard

Finally, the incredibly popular Riders Choice from Gnu has a camber option! This all-mountain twin-tip freestyle board will take you anywhere you wanna go, thanks to its stiff build, camber, and trusty carbon power bands. Plus, with Magne Traction, you'll have unbeatable grip in any conditions; and its asymmetrical sidecut and effective edge make sure your ride is smooth every time. Not to mention, you'll be gliding on a super fast and wax-loving sintered base. Eco-friendly production to boot? Now that's a winner!

Type: All-Mountain / Freestyle
Flex: 6 (out of 10)

Profile: C3 (Camber)
The favorite profile of Jamie Lynn and Fredi Kalbermatten. Then you already know that the C3 stands for ultimate precision with a very minimal rocker. Powerful camber at the tip and tail which further eliminates the rocker profile. This profile gives ultimate edge hold, powerful pop, precision and power for your carves and lines. The perfect profile for aggressive snowboarding.

Shape: True Twin Asym
With a True Twin the core is exactly symmetrical, so it doesn't matter if you go down front left or front right, the board feels the same. True Twin is perfect for people who ride a lot of switch, or do tricks where you turn, because the board feel is always the same on landings. Due to the asymmetrical shape, the heelside bends and toeside bends have a different turning circle. This makes heelside turns a little easier and the toeside turns even better.

Core: G2 Eco Construction
The G2 Eco core of Lib Tech mainly consists of Aspen wood. To make the snowboard lighter, there are 2 large panels with Paulownia wood in the core.

Topsheet fiberglass: Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax Fiber
The layer of Tri-Ax fiberglass provides extra pop and the layer of Bi-Ax fiberglass provides extra direct power transfer from the bindings to the steel edges.

Top: Eco-Sublimated Poly Top

Base: Sintered Knife-Cut
A sintered base gives you the best glide. Having to take off your binding or walk on a path will happen to you a lot less because this base just wants to keep going. The base consists of small granules of plastic that are pressed together so that air remains in between for wax to enter. You do have to wax a sintered base more often because of this, but if you do this well you will notice it! Especially in warmer conditions you will continue to slide where an extruded base will create a vacuum which slows it down.

Sidewalls: UHMW
UHMW is one of the strongest thermoplastics available today. This ensures that you don't have to have your board repaired every time after hitting a box, rail or skis.

Steel side: Magne-Traction
If you have ever driven on ice, you know how quickly you can lose control there. Magne-Traction cuts through ice and hard snow with 7 waves in the steel side. Simply put, your steel side bites into the ice instead of cutting it, just like a serrated knife does in bread. But in normal snow on piste it gives you control and edge hold which gives you the confidence to keep speed. You will feel this especially with turns where you put power in or while carving.
