Not your gutless fish. The Lib Tech T.Rice Orca II is a volume-shifted, directional apex predator designed to dominate all terrain. Engineered by Travis Rice and the Mervin team in Jackson Hole, this board transforms seamlessly from a freeride powder ripper into a resort-slashing daily driver. Featuring a long, floaty nose paired with a powerful, poppy contact-maximizing "Whale Tail" design and a tight 7-meter trench-gouging sidecut, the Orca II delivers unmatched float in deep snow and aggressive carving power on hardpack. Built with lightweight, environmentally friendly Horsepower Ocean-Bound Native Hemlock construction, this award-winning board is as kind to the planet as it is devastating on the mountain.

Volume-Shifted Design: Engineered to be ridden 3-6 cm shorter than your normal board, providing enhanced maneuverability, quick edge-to-edge transitions, and superior float without sacrificing stability.
C3 Contour Profile: The award-winning rocker/camber hybrid (Banana Technology) features a central rocker for enhanced carve, edge hold, and float, while cambered sections build in pop, stability, and control for full contact in all conditions.
Magne-Traction®: Seven strategically located serrated edge "steak knife" technology points provide unreal edge hold and control, effectively turning ice into powder.
Whale Tail Technology: A short-radius, powerful tail design maximizes contact and pop for aggressive slashing and hardpack performance.
Eco-Conscious Construction: Features an ocean-bound eco-sublimated top sheet made from recycled PET plastic waste collected from coastal areas, supporting a cleaner environment.

Performance & Care

The T.Rice Orca II is tuned to excel in the park, around the resort, and in the deep backcountry. Its unique dimensional profile allows it to float effortlessly through pillow stacks while remaining agile enough to rail hardpack with zero toe drag. The sintered knife-cut base requires regular maintenance to preserve its competition-ready speed and hydrophobic properties.

Care Instructions: Store in a cool, dry place. Regularly wax the sintered base to maintain optimal glide and prevent base dry-out. Avoid leaving the board in direct sunlight or extreme heat for extended periods to preserve the eco-sublimated top sheet and structural integrity.
