The Burton Family Tree 3D Deep Daze is a directional freeride snowboard in Burton’s Family Tree series. Intended for riders seeking a versatile all-mountain board, it offers a surf-inspired feel whether you’re carving groomers at the resort or heading into deeper snow.
Its All Mountain Directional shape features a slightly longer nose than tail to help keep you floating in softer snow while still giving solid edge response on firmer terrain. With a flex rating of 5, the board provides a balance of stability at higher speeds and enough playfulness for drifting, quick turn adjustments or pressing into pocket turns. This combination of shape and flex makes it adaptable to varied conditions and riding styles.
The Directional Flat Top profile combines a flat section between the bindings for consistent edge hold with rocker in the nose, which lifts the tip for improved float in powder. Camber under the back foot means the midsection arches slightly when unweighted, storing energy for pop on ollies and maintaining firm contact with the snow during carved turns.
