• C2X is the evolution of C2 technology. The rocker between the bindings is shorter and more aggressive. The camber sections start already under the bindings, which gives us even more support at high speeds. The C2X is designed for intermediate to advanced riders. Mervin Mfg Patent
• Magne-Traction® is a special wavy edge with 7 contact points. A normal board only has 2. This makes the board much more stable on the edge, especially showing it on hard or icy slopes. Magne Traction® does not need to be sharpened as often as a regular edge to still enjoy incredible grip while riding. Patent Mervin Mfg .
• Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax fiberglass laid laterally and longitudinally for even more pop and control on the board.
• Aspen / Paulownia is a core composed of 2 types of wood. Aspen for board strength, Paulownia for weight loss. Softer Paulownia wood on the heel side.
• 5 levels of asymmetry:
• Magne Traction® on the heel side of the wave is stronger, which improves control and balance while riding. There is less undulation on the toes, because on this edge we can apply pressure better and have more balance.
• side cut - from the heel side, the indentation is larger, which makes it easier to load the board on this edge. At the toes, the side cut is smaller.
• flex boards - the board is softer from the heel side, which compensates for the lower cushioning of the legs in the position when riding on heels. Harder at the toes where we better compensate for unevenness.
• different contact points - a shorter effective edge at the heels facilitates carving on this edge, a longer one at the toes.
• Bio Beans Top Sheet is a laminate made of specially processed beans. Thanks to this, the top layer of the board has the highest weight/strength ratio of all materials used in the snowboard industry.
