Nomads Shipping Policy
Outlined below is all the information you’ll need to know regarding Nomad’s Shipping Policies. Have any questions? Nomads frequently runs free shipping promotions. To qualify for a free shipping promotion, a product cannot be highly discounted or final sale. Free shipping promotions cannot be combined with any other form of discount unless explicitly stated in the promotion’s terms and conditions. Nomads reserves the right to revoke a product’s free shipping status in circumstances that bring the order value below cost with shipping. If free shipping status is revoked, the customer will be contacted to pay corresponding shipping fees.
Free shipping promotions are typically only available to the following provinces (unless explicitly stated in the free shipping promotion’s terms and conditions):
- British Columbia
For United States free shipping promotions, free shipping only applies to orders within the continental US and therefore excludes both Hawaii and Alaska.
Nomads Online is able to accept the following payment methods:
- Discover Card
- Diners Club
- Interac Debit
- Gift Cards (to redeem in-store gift cards online contact email@example.com)
- PayPal (required for most international orders)
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Unfortunately, Nomads does not accept the following forms of payment:
- Phone Payments
- Cash Payments
For security purposes, the billing and shipping address of a credit card purchase must be identical in order for Nomads to complete your transaction. Nomads reserves the right to cancel any orders not matching this criteria or order flagged as potentially fraudulent in nature. Furthermore, Nomads reserves the right to cancel any order in cases of sold out inventory, where the total purchase amount captured will be refunded in full.
Your order status represents the progress of your order between the time it is placed and the time it is shipped from Nomads’ Online Store.
Alternative ways to check the status of your order include:

- Opting into Messenger, SMS or email notifications to be updated regularly about the status of your order.
Please note that Nomads is a small business operating at limited capacity. While excellent customer service is always our top priority, the Nomads’ order fulfillment team is only available on Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm MDT, excluding statutory holidays. Therefore, if you place an order on Saturday, Sunday or on a recognized provincial holiday your order will be shipped on the next regularly scheduled working day.
Nomads uses both Canada Post and Fedex as shipping couriers. To view the status of your order after shipment, please visit the link that applies to your order and enter the tracking number supplied to you via email:
As Canada Post and Fedex are third party service providers, Nomads is not responsible for any extension in shipment times due to courier delays. In the event of delayed delivery due to courier error, we recommend that you first contact the shipping company that applies to your order via one of the following toll free numbers:

Prompt shipping times are a top priority for Nomads and our team will do everything possible to ensure your items arrive in a timely manner.
Orders placed at www.shopnomads.com will ship within 1-5 business days from time of purchase. The Nomads order fulfillment team strives to ship each order within a 1 to 2 day timeframe, however as a small business operating at limited capacity we hope you understand that this is not always obtainable. The Nomads’ order fulfillment team is only available on Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm MDT, excluding statutory holidays. Therefore, if you place an order on Saturday, Sunday or on a recognized provincial holiday your order will be shipped on the next regularly scheduled working day.
In cases of express shipping for faster delivery, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by 12:00 P.M MDT to qualify for same day shipping. If express shipping is selected but your order does not meet same day shipping order qualifications, your package may not be fulfilled until the following business day. Please note the Nomad’s order fulfillment team is unavailable on weekends and statutory holidays so selecting express delivery during these times will translate to your order being the first shipment process on the next regular business day.
Nomads is proud to offer a variety of shipping methods for it’s valued customers. The shipping methods currently available are as follows:
In-Store Pick Up
Free in-store pickup is available for anyone willing to make the journey to Nomads’ beautiful retail store, located in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. In-store pickup orders may take up to 5 business days to arrive, so please contact Nomad’s customer service team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling our toll free number 403-887-3119 if you are interested in potentially picking up your items the same day as your order.
Please note, if you select our free in-store pick up option and would like the items shipped to your location you will need to pay the shipping cost before your order can be fulfilled. Requests for additional shipping charges in the case of accidental free in-store pickup selection will be made via email.
Domestic orders within Canada are shipped via Canada Post. Domestic orders will be charged a shipping rate based on package size, weight, and distance as per our rates from Canada Post. Customers will be shown rates prior to check out and given the option to choose their shipping carrier and price.
Once your item is shipped by Nomads order fulfillment team after 1 to 5 business days, you will be emailed a tracking number where you will be able to view the status of your shipment. Track domestic orders shipped by Canada post using the link below:
International orders placed on www.shopnomads.com will ship within 1 to 5 business days.
Please note shipping costs for items shipped outside North America are estimated at checkout and may require additional shipping fees depending on the shipping address i. For all international orders, the customer is responsible for any and all Customs and Brokerage Fees. Therefore, any orders shipping outside of Canada are subject to customs and or duties charges. Unfortunately, fees and charges related to international orders are not set by Nomads and are beyond the scope of our team’s control. Please be aware that international customs processing time is also not included in any estimates of package delivery date.
In the event that the Customs and Brokerage Fees are not paid for by the customer, the package will be considered abandoned and the customer will forfeit any possibility of a refund. Furthermore, any package shipped Internationally that is unable to be delivered, unless by shipper's error, the package will be considered abandoned and the customer will forfeit any possibility of a refund.
Once your item is shipped by Nomads order fulfillment team after 1 to 5 business days, you will be emailed a tracking number where you will be able to view the status of your shipment. Track international orders shipped using one of the link below:
Oversized Item Delivery
Please note that items deemed as oversized may be subject to additional shipping charges. If additional shipping charges apply to your order, you will be contacted by Nomad’s customer service team and prompted to pay the shipping balance for your order to be fulfilled.
Items that may be subject to oversize fees include but are not limited too:

Refused Shipments and Incorrect Shipping Address
All domestic shipments refused by the buyer for delivery will be charged a 40% restocking fee. Please note that refused international shipments may be subject to a higher restocking fee at Nomads discretion.
If you have given us the incorrect shipping address please contact our customer service team as soon as possible via email at email@example.com or by calling our toll free number 403-887-3119.
If an order is returned to www.shopnomads.com due to incorrect shipping address, the customer will be responsible for paying both the initial and return shipping cost plus the cost of re-shipping the package to its intended location. If the customer does not wish to reship the package, they will still be charged for the return shipping, along with a 10% restocking fee. If we are unable to retrieve the package, or change the address the buyer is forfeit of refund. Please note that this policy does not apply to pre-order items. If we are given the incorrect address but have already shipped the package, our team will contact the shipping provider to see if any changes can be made. In the case of an incorrect shipping address but contact after shipment, Nomads reserves the right to charge for all shipping teams incurred. If we are unable to retrieve the package, or change the address the buyer is forfeit of refund.
