Mountain & Electric Mountain Bikes
Applies to Trek Product Types: Bike Mens Mountain, Bike Mountain Electric.
How to Choose: Trek uses both Alpha sizing (S, M, ML, L, XL) and numerical sizing (15.5", 17.5", 19.5", 21.5") depending on the frame material and model [[2]]. E-Mountain bikes (like the Rail or Fuel EXe) follow the exact same geometry and sizing charts as their acoustic counterparts [[1]].
| Alpha Size | Numerical Size | Rider Height (ft / in) | Rider Height (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 15.5" | 5'1" - 5'5" | 155 - 165 cm |
| M | 17.5" | 5'5" - 5'9" | 165 - 175 cm |
| ML | 18.5" | 5'9" - 6'0" | 175 - 183 cm |
| L | 19.5" | 6'0" - 6'4" | 183 - 193 cm |
| XL | 21.5" | 6'4" - 6'7" | 193 - 200 cm |
Fit Tip: If your height falls exactly on the border between two sizes, Trek recommends sizing down for a more nimble, playful ride (better for technical trails), or sizing up for a more stable, stretched-out ride (better for high-speed descents) [[10]].
